More sad news for Celine Dion has emerged just one day after the star's husband, Rene Angelil, died at 73 after a decades-long battle with cancer.

The singer's older brother, Daniel, has been fighting a tough battle with cancer -- and may only have a few more days to live.

Daniel, 59, who is one of Dion's 13 siblings, is surrounded by family in Montreal, according to his sister, Claudette, and the family believes he may only have "a matter of days or hours" to live.

"It looks a lot like René, he had cancer of the throat, tongue and brain," Claudette said in an interview with The Journal of Montreal. "Our family is very experienced."

The "My Heart Will Go On" singer, 47, who has already canceled her upcoming Vegas shows, had devoted herself in recent years to aiding her ailing husband and expressed her will to maintain brave throughout his battle.

"You can have your shaking knees at the end, but when someone you love falls and needs help, it's not time to cry," she told USA Today in August. "Afterwards, sure. But not yet."
