Facebook recently released its list of the most checked-in places of 2015, so you can utilize the social media giant's rankings to help plan trips for 2016!

You could visit the happiest place on earth -- Disney World, which was the number one most checked-in place of the year, or if you're not into a visit to the Magic Kingdom? Check out number 19 on the list -- Barcelona, which is filled with great culture, food and beautiful beaches, not to mention amazing tapas. Looking to stay a little closer to home? You could also trek to Times Square to experience the pure electricity and pure New York vibes.
