Fox is developing an untitled comedy starring Courteney Cox, TheWrap has learned.
The "Friends" alum will also serve as co-executive producer alongside Robert Padnick on the single-camera sitcom.
Cox will play Hailey, a woman who inherits her late billionaire husband's charity and quickly finds that changing the world is far less glamorous than she imagined.
Thea Mann and James Griffiths, who will also direct the project provided it's picked up to series, are also EPs on the ABC Studios project.
Cox is best known for her roles on "Friends" and "Cougar Town." She recently wrapped big screen feature "Mother's Day" and made her directorial debut on indie drama "Just Before I Go." She is represented by WME.
