BY DONNA FREYDKIN
So all those new year's resolutions about going to the gym? Take one look at mom-of-two Kate Hudson, in her Michael Kors number from the Golden Globes, and take thee to a spin class.
"She has a killer body. Why not flaunt it? She had two kids and she feels good and she looks good. And it shows. She rocked it," says her celebrity makeup artist Melanie Inglessis.

In the case of Hudson, and any celebrity client, "The outfit always guides the makeup. It's the starting point. From there we start the collaboration process. She has a great body. She's fun and gorgeous. She's fun. She really is."
We asked Inglessis about getting Hudson ready; she presented with her dad, Kurt Russell.
"The dress had some skin showing, so I wanted to do a beautiful blonde goddess. We took reference from Kim Basinger, mixed with Studio 54. Bronzy, healthy skin, with a little smoky eye, and nude lips," says Inglessis.
Here's how she did it:
First she misted Chantecaille Pure Rosewater over Kate's face to awaken her skin.
Then she massaged Bio Lifting Mask into her face and placed a Gold Energizing Eye Recovery Mask under each of Kate's eyes.
She then smoothed a small amount of Magnolia, Jasmine and Lily Healing Emulsion onto Kate's face to create a base for foundation.
She used Future Skin Foundation as a base for Kate's healthy glow, followed by Radiance Gel Bronzer into Kate's skin.
She dabbed a soft peachy-pink to Kate's cheeks with Cheek Gelee Hydrating Gel-Cream Blush.
Finally, Melanie dusted HD Perfecting Powder onto Kate's t-zone area.
Her smoky eye was courtesy of 24 Hour Waterproof Eye Liner in Oolong, followed by Le Chrome Luxe Eye Duo in Monte Carlo.
On her lips, she used lipstick in Agave.
