Jennifer Lawrence harshly scolded a reporter for being on his phone while he asked questions about her Golden Globes win for "Joy" backstage at the awards show on Monday night.
"You can't live your whole life behind your phone, bro," said Lawrence to the reporter in question. "You can't do that. You've got to live in the now."
However, the exchange only got more heated from there.
"How do you see yourself for the Oscar night, and how..." the reporter asked before Lawrence cut him off.
"We're at the Golden Globes," she responded. "If you put your phone down, you'd know that."

Lawrence has been facing critique for her statements, many claiming that its clear the reporter wasn't a native English speaker who was using his phone to translate the questions. Some fans on Twitter called her "rude" and "ignorant" for humiliating the journalist.
