Cookie is in the house!

Taraji P. Henson snagged the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a TV Drama on Sunday night and she made sure the entire audience knew who the award was really going to ... Cookie.

The 45-year-old made a beeline to the stage after her name was announced handing out chocolate chip cookies to everyone in her way. As she hopped up on the stage and someone stepped on the train of her dress, she yelled, "Get off my train." She said it with the kind of fervor that only her "Empire" alter-ego could and followed up with a bellowing, "Cookies for everyone tonight. My treat."

She kicked off her rousing speech by joking to the audience, "Who knew that playing an ex-convict would take me all around the globe. It just goes to show..."

Henson told the audience that she always thought that she might have won for one of her previous roles, but she never expected that the role of a woman "who spent 17 years in jail for selling crack" would lead to her first Golden Globe win.

And then the Golden Globes gods tried to send her off the stage by sending her a 20-second warning on the teleprompter.

Cookie -- we mean, Taraji -- wasn't having any of that. She griped, "Please, wrap!? I waited 20 years for this. You're going to wait. My fans have been praying for this. You gotta get me time."

She finished off her speech by thanking the rest of her cast and crew and specifically Terrence Howard, her on-screen ex-husband, Lucious Lyon. "Cookie is nothing without Lucious Lyon," she yelled.

Henson's speech brought a ton of energy into the Golden Globes room, and let's face it -- it was very well-deserved.
