NORFOLK, Va -- A Norfolk woman who thought she'd lost her dog in a house fire had an emotional reunion with her buddy.

Zoey Chandler was among 11 people displaced after the fire destroyed the apartment building Saturday morning. While she made it out safely, she lost track of her Chihuahua, Taffy, during the evacuation.

"I've been looking for my dog since this morning and I thought that she got caught up in the fire, but I didn't give up," Chandler said. "I walked high and low for my dog."

Twelve hours after the fire started, the moment she hoped for: Taffy came running up to her.

"Thank you God for finding my dog, and she's safe," Chandler said.
