'Where White People Meet' dating site billboard turning heads in Utah
WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (KFOR) -- A billboard for a dating website in Utah is turning heads.
Plastered along the 201 freeway is an advertisement for "WhereWhitePeopleMeet.com."
Many Utahns are saying the website represents outdated thinking. "I just feel we should be past that whole mindset of staying within our own race and segregation pretty much," Michelle Dessau said.
However, others see nothing wrong with it.
"I don't think it's any different than other sites for specific races, religions or ages," Sarah Christison said.
Below is the information posted in the dating site's "About Us" section:
"I am sure some of you are wondering about the concept and need for a dating website titled "Where White People Meet.Com". Our answer to that would be why not?
