Teen Driver Charged For Driving Drunk With Eight Passengers, Two In Trunk

Drunk driving is dangerous enough all on its own.

But one teenager in Niagara County, New York, might have just found a way to increase that danger—by allegedly driving drunk with passengers in the trunk.

Nineteen-year-old Trevor M. Kureczka was pulled over in the town of Pendleton after police received a call about a reckless driver early New Year's Day.

Kureczka was given field sobriety tests and then charged with Driving While Intoxicated.

The drunk teenager reportedly had eight passengers with him in the car, including two 15-year-olds, leading to separate counts of Leandra's law violations.

Adding the two stashed away trunk passengers to the mix resulted in charges of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

Kureczka is due in court on January 5th.
