Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck will spend the holidays together

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck remain a united team!

Despite the fact that the duo split over the summer, sources are saying that the powerhouse actors are planning to spend the holidays together -- with their kids.

The former couple, who are parents to daughters Violet Affleck, 10, Seraphina Affleck, 6, and son Samuel Affleck, 3, say when it comes to Christmas, their family comes first and they want their kids to believe it.

"They will be together as a family," a source told E! News of the family's plans. "They continue to put the kids first and spend time with each other for the sake of their children."

Affleck moved out of the family home over the summer so the family won't be staying in Los Angeles to celebrate. Instead, they're reportedly heading to the mountains in snowy mountains for a touch of holiday cheer and a white Christmas.

They're "in a good place right now," an insider explained to E!.

It's been a long road for Affleck and the "Miracles From Heaven" actress. Garner put on a brave face after news broke that Affleck and their nanny had been romantically linked, which was dubbed "nannygate."

Perhaps, the holidays will officially get them through what must have been a difficult time as they split.
