This series just became most-streamed Amazon original to date
"The Man in the High Castle" is Amazon's most-streamed original show ever by Prime members globally, the subscription service announced Monday.
The new science fiction show, based on the book by Phillip K. Dick, imagines a dystopian world if the Axis armies won World War II instead of the Allies. Ridley Scott's Scott Free production, which Frank Spotnitz ("The X-Files") developed and executive produces, has beaten the previous record set by Amazon Original "Bosch."
What that record actually is, we don't know. Amazon declined to give out any numbers to support the claim when TheWrap requested more data.

Both "Bosch" and "High Castle" have been renewed for second seasons.
"We're very proud of this outstanding series created by Frank Spotnitz, Scott Free and Isa Dick Hackett, which Amazon customers around the world have enthusiastically embraced, and we look forward to the second season," said Roy Price, Amazon Studios' vice president. "We hoped that once again bringing together the work of Phillip K. Dick and the vision of Ridley Scott – who brought us the classic film 'Blade Runner' – would help deliver on our promise of creating some of the best television in the world for Prime customers, and we believe that it has."
