Bernie Sanders gets interviewed by popular rapper
In November, Atlanta based rapper and activist Killer Mike of Run the Jewels welcomed presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders to his hometown. The two were seen eating lunch at Atlanta's Busy Bee restaurant and Killer Mike introduced Sanders at a rally at Atlanta's Fox Theater later that day.
Killer Mike welcomes Bernie Sanders to Atlanta:
"I have said in many a rap, I don't trust the church or the government, a Democrat, Republican, a pope, a bishop or those other men," Killer Mike said in his introduction. "But after spending five hours tonight, after spending five hours with someone who has spent the last 50 years radically fighting for your rights and mine, I can tell you that am very proud tonight to announce the next president of the United States, Sen. Bernie Sanders."

The two met at Killer Mike's Atlanta barbershop, the Swag Shop for the hour-long conversation. In the series titled "Talking Shop With Bernie Sanders" the two discuss economic freedom, social justice, health care, protests, and more.
