Get less sleep and you could live longer
Eating, drinking, smoking ... all of it in excess could be dangerous for your health. Makes sense, right? But too much sleep? What?!
A new study suggests people who sleep more than nine hours a night could put you at risk of premature death. But don't worry ... thankfully that's not the whole story.
Researchers at the University of Sydney analyzed the health behaviors of more than 230,000 people. They found people who spend their days sleeping and sitting are four times as likely to die young. And that's because they discovered those who get too many Zs and live sedentary lifestyles are also more likely to drink and smoke in excess.

So what does this mean for you? Get between 7 and 9 hours of sleep a night and make sure you keep moving during the day. The combination of too much sleep and sitting is just as hazardous for you as too much smoking and alcohol.
Remember your parents yelling get outta bed in the morning? Maybe they knew this all along.
