Rose Siggins, who appeared as Legless Suzi on "American Horror Story: Freak Show," has died in a Denver hospital. She was 43.

Siggins was undergoing surgery for kidney stones but complications during the procedure eventually killed her, according to TMZ.

Siggins was born with sacral agenesis, a spinal deformation that limits use of the legs. In an interview with The Huffington Post, she revealed that she never expected special treatment because of her disability.

"A lot of people with disabilities feel that life owes them something, and I was raised in a way that no one owes you a dime," she said. "The world doesn't owe you anything. My personal opinion is, get up and go for it."

"American Horror Story: Freak Show" was the fourth season of Ryan Murphy's acclaimed FX anthology series. Siggins co-stars included Evan Peters, Jessica Lange, and Sarah Paulson.

Siggins also appeared on shows like "Ripley's Believe It or Not" and "Extraordinary People" to talk about her life with no legs.

Siggins is survived by her husband, David, and their two children, Luke and Shelby.
