"Modern Family" star Jesse Tyler Ferguson posted an Instagram on Tuesday revealing he had cancer in his face.
"Thank you to Dr. Bennett & his entire team for taking the cancer out of my face. Good luck hiding the stitches tomorrow @modernfamily_makeuphair! #youwannaapieceofme #phantommask #spf75," he wrote.
The surgery appeared to be pretty non-invasive, as the actor just posted a new photo with his on-screen fam today.
We're sure the 40-year-old actor also got some much-needed support at home -- Ferguson's husband, Justin Mikita, is a cancer survivor himself.
"He was diagnosed when he was 13 and that's sort of an age when you don't really realize what's going on," Jesse told E! News last year. "He goes in once a year for his check-up to make sure he's still cancer free so he's always reminded of it."
