She's already taken an ill-fated ride in the douchemobile.

So it stands to reason that more romantic calamities are in store for Abby (Lisa Edelstein) on Bravo's Tuesday scripted series "Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce." In season two, she's torn between her ex (the driver of the aforementioned vehicle) and her boyfriend Will (Warren Christie). Plus, she's got a new job where she has to prove herself.

""That's something I would have been like when I was younger. She feels like a very young me," says Edelstein of her eternally upbeat -- in public, at least -- character.

Speaking of youth, one of the key parts of the show for Edelstein is the ability to play the real her, in terms of years. She's allowed to play her age, and grow older, without stopping the passage of time with fillers and injections.

"Yeah, isn't that amazing? I'm not really worried about it. It's not that it bothers me. I don't want to ever want to feel that I have to pretend it's anything else. Life is life. You don't know what it's going to bring you," says Edelstein. "I've always been the sidekick, the supporting character. I've never had to be the ingenue. I never felt the pressure to be perfect."

She's 49. Color us shocked.

"I eat really well and I exercise every day. That's all I got. I don't drink," says Edelstein. "Other than that, it's genetics. I try to take really good care of myself."
