The first full-length trailer for American Crime Story, producer Ryan Murphy's true crime series based on the O.J. Simpson trial, was released on Wednesday, and reveals the first look at the famous faces portraying key players in The People vs. O.J. Simpson.
Cuba Gooding Jr. plays the football star-turned-accused murderer in the series, which premieres on FX in February. Scenes from Simpson's televised freeway chase through Los Angeles play out in startling intensity in the trailer, as Gooding cowers in the back seat of the infamous white Bronco with a gun, whimpering, "I deserve to get hurt."
Friends star David Schwimmer plays Robert Kardashian, Simpson's friend and defense lawyer, who is shown arguing with then-wife Kris, played by Selma Blair. The couple were friends with both O.J. and his slain wife Nicole Brown Simpson.

"He's my friend," Kardashian tells his wife as he wrestles with taking the case. "I don't turn my back on people."
"You're turning your back on Nicole!" she replies.
A tearful Kris is also shown asking her friend Faye Resnick, played by Nashville star Connie Britton, if she thinks Simpson is guilty of killing his ex-wife. "She was terrified of him," Resnick replies.
John Travolta and Courtney B. Vance round out Simpson's defense team as Robert Shapiro and Johnnie Cochran, respectively, while Murphy mainstay Sarah Paulson stars as prosecutor Marcia Clark in the series, which will also tackle the racial components of one of the most publicized trials in American history.
"You want to make this a black thing," Gooding says in the preview. "Well, I'm not black. I'm O.J."
American Crime Story premieres Feb. 2 on FX.
