Carrie Underwood helps James Corden channel his country side in 'carpool karaoke'
The Late Late Show has gone country!
Carrie Underwood joined host James Corden in the passenger seat of his SUV and belted out all her hits for another edition of "Carpool Karaoke." At one point, Corden claimed that Jesus really did take the wheel.
The late-night host was eager to get into the country music scene and Underwood insisted he needed boots before that could happen. "Boots are our roots," she quipped.
Corden was on board until he saw how much the boots cost. "We're not all multi-platinum recording artists. We haven't all had four Billboard number ones. Some of us are on CBS at 12:30," he joked to the 32-year-old singer.
He settled on a cowboy hat, and the two were back on the road!

Corden also inquired about the American Idol alum's husband, Mike Fisher, and his job as a pro hockey player. When asked if the new mom ever got worried about all the fighting that occurs on the ice, Underwood pointed out that the last fight her husband had, he knocked out a guy's tooth. "It was pretty hot," Underwood gushed.
When ET caught up with Corden in August, he revealed his dream list of "Carpool Karaoke" guests. His picks may surprise you:
