Already seen as a role model to thousands of youth, Taylor Swift has one more hugely influential, outspoken fan: Oprah Winfrey.

During her visit to Australia, Winfrey told the HeraldSun that she found Taylor Swift to be a "true great role model." She said of the 1989 pop star, "I've never seen any woman handle herself the way she does."

In other Swift news and in true Oprah-giveaway fashion, Taylor posted on her Tumblr that she took her 1989 World Tour band and crew on vacation for all their hard and wonderful work.

"So stoked to be able to take my band and crew on a vacation at the end of a long and wonderful tour," she writes. "For all their hard work this year, they really deserve it. Thank you to Hamilton Island for taking such great care of 125 of the people who work tirelessly to make sure the 1989 World Tour stage gets built, the lights are on, the costumes are made, the guitars are tuned, and the show goes on."
