Production sources tell ET that the 21-year-old pop star was scheduled to shoot his parade performance on Tuesday evening in New York City after appearing on The Late Show, but abruptly canceled both for undisclosed personal reasons.

ET has reached out to CBS and Bieber's rep for additional details, but the singer did tweet about not showing up to The Late Show.

"My apologies to @colbertlateshow as I won't be able to make it to NYC tomorrow for the show," the "Sorry" singer socialed on Tuesday. "I look forward to making it up to you soon."

He also tweeted at Colbert, writing: "@StephenAtHome, thank you for the understanding as sometimes life kicks our a** and we need to deal with it. I will see u soon. Thank you."

It's still unclear if these cancellations will impact Bieber's other slated appearances, including a performance on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve, which will air on ABC.
