Kyle Busch held off the field to win the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship at Homestead-iami Speedway.

The table was set for drama in the final race of the NASCAR season at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Kyle Busch, Martin Treux Jr., Kevin Harvick and Jeff Gordon were the final four drivers in the race vying for the season championship.

To add to the drama, Gordon announced that the 2015 season would be his final and he was on the cusp of adding another championship to his legendary career.

The start of the race was delayed because of rain, pushing it back to run into Sunday Night Football.

Early in the race Kyle Busch took the lead, and while he lost it he regained it in the final 10 laps. Kevin Harvick was the closest contender down the stretch, trailing Busch in fourth place.

Busch was able to hold on for the final three laps to win the race and the championship completing a historic comeback. Busch missed the first 11 races of the season with a broken leg.

Gordon and Harvick each led the race at various points. Gordon had issues with tires, thinking he had a flat at one-point and complaining about a drop off as the miles built up on the tires.

While it is Busch\'s night, it is also a special moment for #24 and we hope Gordon enjoys retirement.
