Live from New York... it was the world's belty record breaker: Adele.

The 27-year-old songbird stunned with a glorious, rafters-reaching rendition of "Hello" as musical guest during last night's Saturday Night Live, hosted by Matthew McConaughey.

In a classic black frill dress, Adele was a force of nature, slaying the show with her mere presence. Helloooo, indeed!

She sang, too, of course -- and not just one but two soaring cuts from her long-awaited blockbuster album, 25. This was only Adele's second appearance on SNL. Her first was in 2008 during the release of her debut, 19.

During last night's performance, Adele moved us as much as she moved her emotive hands, which were swinging and swaying as she nailed each note like the pro she is. And then she made the best Adele face. With her tongue out, she went cross-eyed, leaving us with this beautiful gift of a pic.

Adele's second performance of the night was another big make-you-bawl ballad, "When We Were Young," her latest sentimental single, which she tore into with her colossal Grammy-winning pipes. It was perfection. But, then again, when is she not?

"I love you," she kindly mouthed at the end of the song.

Considering how she's dominating the charts with 25, which Billboard reports is projected to sell a record-breaking 2.5 million copies this week, the feeling is obviously mutual. To promote the album, Adele has been making her rounds, performing a sold-out show, Adele Live in New York City, at Radio City Music Hall on Nov. 17 (to air on Dec. 14 on NBC).
