The wind assisted one soccer ball and it went no where anyone expected

Never underestimate the wind, especially during a soccer game.

At a soccer game in London, it seemed as though the strong winds of Storm Barney was no match for the essentially weightless soccer ball.

According to Mashable, the game between Romford and Thurrock took an unsuspecting turn. After Thurrock defender Kamarl Duncan kicked the ball from the middle of the field, the wind decided it had other plans and made it's way towards his own goal.


In a series of unfortunate events, Duncan ended up scoring on himself. Not the best for him, but for Romford it was great!
