Cecily Strong opened Saturday Night Live with a note of solidarity with France after the deadly terrorist attacks in Paris a day earlier.

In the thirty-five second open, Strong spoke in both English and French. "Paris is the City of Light, and here in New York City we know that light will never go out," she said.
