Gene Snitsky is a WWE wrestler turned kitchen hero, and at 6'5" 280 lb., he's demonstrating how men can take over the kitchen this Thanksgiving. (If you haven't seen Snitsky as Turkey Dude, you'll want to familiarize yourself with The Adventures of Turkey Dude, Episode 1).

In an interview and live cooking demo with AOL BUILD, the Turkey Dude shows you how to prepare Pumpkin Spice Risotto, Butternut Squash Soup, and Turkey Mac and Cheese in the Power Pressure Cooker XL.

Creamy Turkey Mac and Cheese


Ingredients:

  • 6 oz. cream cheese

  • 1 lb. elbow pasta, dry

  • 1 cup water

  • 2 cups heavy cream

  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded

  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, shredded

  • 2 cups chopped turkey

Directions:

  1. Place the Inner Pot into the Power Pressure Cooker.

  2. Press the SOUP/STEW button to set for 10 minutes.

  3. Combine all ingredients into Inner Pot.

  4. Secure the Lid on the Cooker. Lock the Lid and switch the Pressure Release Valve to Closed.

  5. Once the timer reaches 0, the Pressure Cooker will automatically switch to KEEP WARM. Press CANCEL. Switch the Pressure Release Valve to Open. When the steam is completely released, remove the Lid.

  6. Mix in cooked turkey

  7. Serve


Pumpkin Spice Risotto



Ingredients:

  • 12 oz. Arborio rice

  • 4 cups chicken stock

  • 6 oz. pumpkin puree

  • 1/2 onion, diced

  • 1 tsp thyme chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg

  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp. ginger

  • 1/4 tsp. allspice

  • 4 oz. heavy cream

  • 2 oz. olive oil

Directions:

  1. Place the Inner Pot into the Power Pressure Cooker.

  2. Press the SOUP/STEW button to set for 10 minutes.

  3. Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil.

  4. Add rice and stir. Add remaining ingredients.

  5. Secure the Lid on the Cooker. Lock the Lid and switch the Pressure Release Valve to Closed.

  6. Once the timer reaches 0, the Pressure Cooker will automatically switch to KEEP WARM. Press CANCEL. Switch the Pressure Release Valve to Open. When the steam is completely released, remove the Lid.

  7. Fold in heavy cream.


Butternut Squash Soup

Ingredients:

  • 2 lb. butternut squash, peeled, cubed & seeded

  • 4 cups chicken stock

  • 1 cup apple cider or juice

  • 1 large onion, chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic chopped

  • 1 cinnamon stick

  • 1 bay leaf

  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg

  • 3 Tbsp. olive oil

  • 1 tsp. salt

  • 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper

  • 1/4 cup sour cream

  • 1/4 cup toasted pumpkin seeds

Directions:

  1. Place the Inner Pot into the Power Pressure Cooker. Press the CHICKEN/MEAT button. 10 min

  2. Combine garlic and onion into the Inner Pot. Cook for 2 minutes.

  3. Add butternut squash.

  4. Add remaining ingredients excluding sour cream.

  5. Secure the Lid on the Cooker. Lock the Lid and switch the Pressure Release Valve to Closed.

  6. Press the SOUP/STEW button to set time for 10 minutes.

  7. Once the timer reaches 0, the Pressure Cooker will automatically switch to KEEP WARM. Press CANCEL. Let the pressure release naturally. Switch the Pressure Release Valve to Open. When the steam is completely released, remove the Lid.

  8. Let cool. Remove cinnamon stick and bay leaf.

  9. Combine with sour cream in a blender until pureed.

  10. Before serving, garnish with pumpkin seeds.
