Ronda Rousey endorses a surprising presidential candidate

Body shaming isn't the only important societal issue that Ronda Rousey feels passionate about.

Although Donald Trump claimed over the summer that Rousey "likes" him, the UFC celebrity told Maxim that Bernie Sanders is her presidential pick.

It may not surprise you, but Rousey is as tough a critic on presidential hopefuls as she is a fighter in the ring.

"I was so unimpressed with the whole presidential campaign [in 2012] that I picked whatever third party I saw," she says. "But I'm really pulling for Sanders this time. I hope it works out."

In a separate CNN interview, Rousey got serious about her opposition to the Trump campaign: "I just really wouldn't trust the guy with running my country, that's all," she says. "I don't want a reality TV star to be running my country."

Needless to say, Ronda Rousey is feelin' the Bern.
