Oof.

Professional skier Ian McIntosh recently survived a terrifying 1,600-foot tumble down the Neacola mountain range in Alaska.

The hair-raising fall was caught on camera on April 10 during the making of the ski and snowboarding flick "Paradise Waits," produced by action sports company Teton Gravity Research. The company uploaded the footage to YouTube last week.

Teton Gravity Research co-founder Todd Jones said the incident "was the most terrifying crash I've ever seen," according to a blog post on the company's website.

The company said McIntosh, 24, accidentally fell into an unseen five-foot-deep trench during one of his first turns. "From there," McIntosh is quoted as saying in the blog post, there was "no way to stop."

But the 24-year-old skier "was able to walk away," Teton Gravity Research spokesman Eric Henderson told NBC News. "He's a big guy and he muscled his way" out of the snow.

"Paradise Waits" debuts in theaters this week.
