German Child Killer Questioned In Madeleine McCann's Disappearance

A man who confessed to killing two boys is expected to be investigated over the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.

McCann was just 3-years-old when she vanished in 2007 while on vacation with her family. Her parents were having lunch just down the street from a resort in Portugal where they were on holiday.

Detectives in Germany will question 32-year-old Silvio S about McCann. He was arrested on Thursday after police found the body of a young boy in his car. Silvio has since admitted to killing the boy and one other, whom he buried in his garden at his home.

Authorities will check Silvio's passport to see if he was ever in Portugal around the time of McCann's disappearance. They are also investigating whether he is responsible for the disappearance of a 5-year-old girl who has been dubbed "the German Madeleine McCann" after she vanished from a family barbecue in May.

Scotland Yard detectives are following the developments closely.
