It's not goodbye, it's see you later!

One Direction gave an emotional performance on Saturday in Sheffield, Britain, as it marked their final tour date before embarking on an extended hiatus next year. While much speculation has been made regarding whether this might actually be the end of the road for the boy band, the guys of 1D seem to have every intention of returning to the spotlight -- together.

"Don't let the papers or online stuff tell you we're not coming back," Niall Horan tweeted. "We are, I'm just going on a long holiday."

The guys also addressed the rumors during their performance. Liam Payne told the crowd, "We're just taking a short break," while Louis Tomlinson echoed "a short break," according to one concertgoer.

Harry Styles may have even shown former 1D member Zayn Malik a little love during their show, thanking the fans for "supporting me and my four bros" at one point.
