President Obama and the First Lady welcomed local school children and kids from military families to the White House on Friday for some good, old-fashioned Halloween fun.

But it was one little tot who really captured the president's attention. A little toddler dressed up like the pope and was pushed along in a "popemobile" by his doting dad won the top prize from Obama himself.

The South Lawn was turned into an enchanted forest and children's costumed ranged from princesses, creatures, and even a FLOTUS ensemble. Obama and Michelle handed out candies, fruit bars, and even baseball cards featuring their puppies Bo and Sunny, to excited trick-or-treaters.
