Ariana Grande has got into the Halloween spirit with a surprise of her own: the early release of her new song "Focus."

The pop singer led a countdown for the new single, which became a trending topic on Twitter when it dropped an hour ahead of schedule. "Surprise !!!! it's here!!!!," she informed her millions of Twitter followers overnight.

Grande teased the sassy, horn-heavy tune earlier this week when she shared a snippet of its official video. She's also gone with a striking new platinum hairstyle for its cover-art.

"Focus" is the first single off her forthcoming album and its available to purchase at iTunes.
