Washington Redskins defensive rookies pick up $22K dinner tab
If you've ever wondered how much it costs to take an entire NFL team's defense out to a steakhouse for dinner, just ask the defensive rookies of the Washington Redskins.
They recently picked up the tab for such a meal and the bill was roughly $22,000. That included gratuity.

Freshman linebacker Preston Smith was among 4 people who covered the check, but said the total wasn't entirely shocking.
In fact, he commented, "It wasn't as bad as I thought it may have been."
Veteran player Chris Baker was among the diners who shared a picture of the bill on social media.
His Instagram post is captioned, "Great dinner tonight I LOVE THE ROOKIESTHEY GOT MONEY."
