Driver caught driving with zombie doll in HOV lane
HOV lanes may be tempting to take when traffic is heavy, but one man's unusual strategy ended up backfiring on him.
Washington State Patrol trooper Guy Gill recently tweeted a photo of a child zombie Halloween doll buckled into the passenger seat of a car that was traveling in the HOV lane.
He commented in the post that the incident happened near Tacoma and that the driver seemed to be in the Halloween spirit, adding the hashtag "TrickOrTicket."
After the officer spotted the fake passenger, he pulled the car over and issued a $136 ticket for the lane violation.
Gill later joked that they "gave him a break for not having a car seat."
