Talk about awkward! Cara Delevingne embarrasses fibbing fan on Instagram
Model-turned-actress Cara Delevingne is known to have a "dry" British sense of humor, as seen in the video above. So when the "Suicide Squad" actress posted this Instagram picture on Oct. 26, the internet was a mix of chuckles and cringes.

After Cara saw a girl texting her friend about how she was "hanging out" with Cara, Kendall Jenner, and Gigi Hadid, Cara was able to snap a quick pic of the fan's conversation to post on her own Instagram with the caption "pretty sure we've never met," with the hashtag #CaughtRedHanded.

Critics and fans alike began commenting on Delevingne's act, calling her out for her post. Instagram comments range from, "IT'S A JOKE! Stop taking it so serious," to "Making fun of others isn't very laughable."
After to backlash, Delevingne took to Twitter to explain the post:
