Backstreet Boys' Nick Carter and wife Lauren expecting first child

Backstreet BoyNick Carter is going to be a dad. The pop singer and his wife Lauren Kitt Carter are expecting their first child, sources tell People.

Carter married Kitt, a fitness trainer and actress, last year after the pair got engaged in 2013. The couple have co-starred in a series of fitness webisodes called "Kit Fitt"and their romance was documented in VH1's 2014 reality show "I Heart Nick Carter."

The pop singer has been back in the limelight as a contestant in the current, 21st series of "Dancing With the Stars."
