They don't call her 'Thrifty Kate' for nothing! The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, continued a very busy week with a visit to a child mentoring program Tuesday, and she recycled a gray Orla Kiely dress for the occasion.
Previously worn in 2012 when she visited The Prince's Foundation for Children and The Arts with her father-in-law, Prince Charles, Kate proves that her closet has got to be ginormous as she pulls out an oldie but goodie for today.
To the right, Kate wearing the dress today, and previously in 2012.
Chance UK is an organization whose mission is to "improve the lives of primary school children with behavioural difficulties," through one-to-one mentoring. Kate met with the organization's leaders, and several of the children Chance UK is working with. The Duchess wanted to learn more about what the program does and how it's been helping over 200 families each year.
Having expressed an interest in mental health and early-intervention programs, this visit is just one more step for Kate towards bringing these issues to light and doing what she can to help find a solution.
For today's event, Kate paired the Orla Kiely dress with black Jimmy Choo pumps, a black clutch and her Annouschka pearl drop earrings. She wore her hair up in what has become a staple for the Duchess, a chic ponytail. Not bad for a late night out on the glamorous red carpet for 'Spectre' to looking fresh as ever for today's engagements. How could you not be impressed by this woman?
