Nick Cannon, who allegedly has an eye for the greats as the host of America's Got Talent, bestowed some very high praise on none other than Chris Brown, declaring that the troubled star is heir to both Michael Jackson and Tupac in an Instagram post.

"Damn right I said it!" Cannon said in the caption (the image shows the artists combining in an equation, which "equals" Brown). "The level of talent, passion, and artistic ability that this young man possesses makes @ChrisBrownOfficial a true legend amongst legends.

"Think about how much everyone attacked MJ and 2Pac while they were alive," he added. "I don't think I have ever witnessed someone more gifted, who has overcome so much and still growing and learning daily."
