Authorities Hunt For 'Modern Day Bonnie And Clyde'

A pair of bank robbers is on the loose, and have been traveling along the nation's East Coast.

Over the past few weeks, the duo, identified as Joseph and Jennifer Carrier, pulled off successful heists in Florida, Maryland, and Massachusetts.

Sgt. C. William Reiber of the Aberdeen Police Department called them a 'modern day Bonnie and Clyde.'

Authorities believe the money gained through the crime spree is being used to fund both their heroin habits and the care of the 7 small Brussels Griffon dogs they're believed to have in tow.

Investigators are hoping the pets eventually lead them to the perpetrators.

Reiber told the Boston Herald, "We believe this will increase their visibility, as they may need to make frequent stops to let the dogs out."

The pair's first robbery occurred on September 28th and the most recent incident happened just last Friday.
