Nurse outfits and banjos? You've never heard Shawn Mendes' top 5 hit "Stitches" quite like this -- but that's exactly what country and Tony-nominated Broadway starLaura Bell Bundy (How I Met Your Mother, Anger Management) went with in her cover of the tune.

"When I first heard 'Stitches' I thought, 'Wow this has the bones of a country song' and I knew by adding the right instruments (banjo, mandolin, and fiddle) this would be an amazing bluegrass cover," Bundy tells Billboard. "I'm really proud of the music we created."

The goofy music video, below, is part of Bundy's new, modern-day variety web show, Skits-o-Frenic, which launches today.

"Our original vision for this video was a simple performance piece on the porch," she explains. "But then I found a nurse's costume. Add in the fact that the ranch looked a bit like a mental institution and there were four wheelers on the property and we couldn't help ourselves from putting together a full fledged music video!"
