Jennifer Lawrence is confident she's "more than just an unemployed housewife" in a new trailer for "Joy," the latest drama from director David O. Russell.

The Christmas Day release from 20th Century Fox follows the rise of Joy Mangano, the entrepreneur who invented the Miracle Mop.

"I have real ambitions and real ideas," the actress says in the trailer. "I have to do things for myself, once and for all."

Robert De Niro, Bradley Cooper, Edgar Ramirez, Isabella Rossellini, Diane Ladd, Virginia Madsen , Elisabeth Röhm and Dascha Polanco co-star.
