Marty McFly Impersonator Rides on Hoverboard for 'Back to the Future' Day


Since the hoverboard first appeared in the movie "Back to the Future," humanity has been obsessed with trying to make that technology come to life. A number of companies created their own versions of hoverboards that range from gimmicky gadgets that don't really fly to more elaborate inventions that are not nearly as cool as the one Marty Mc-Fly rode in the film, but they all have one thing in common. They are not hoverboards.

Someone got tired of waiting for the technology to happen, which according to the movie should have been available by October 21, 2015 and created a stunt that impressed a lot of people on the streets of London. Host of "The Gadget Show" Jason Bradbury took a DeLorean out while wearing Marty McFly clothes and had a structure hold him at the side of the car and make him look as if he was really flying on the original hoverboard.

Many curious people started following the man and filmed his performance that triggered a lot of nostalgia for the cult movie. Unfortunately, we are still far from a real hoverboard, but this is one of the closest things you can ride while you wait for the magic to happen:
