Chicks, man.

Betty is excited to be working at her new job. As the social media marketing mind behind restaurant chain Chicken Treat, Betty spends her days at the computer, hammering out tweets for the Australian fast food brand.

She's just like you and me -- except for the fact that Betty just happens to be a chicken.

CBC reports that the 4-year-old fowl uses the restaurant's hashtag #ChickenTweet to promote her eloquent content on the social media platform.

Even though it's only 140 characters, the tweets exude personality and panache. Could Betty be the next Hemingway?

Betty has been racking up followers after taking over the chain's Twitter account last week.

A video posted on their YouTube channel shows the fowl comfy at her post, pecking at the keyboard at Chicken Treat HQ.

The fowl will be behind the keyboard until she tweets a "proper 5-letter English word," the chain said.

It's all part of an attempt to land the tweeting chick into the Guinness Book of World Records.

CBC points out that so far, the only word Betty has pounded has been "bum."

Although some people have criticized Chicken Treat for the social media strategy, the chain assures that the campaign "has been approved by the RSPCA & abides by all standards regarding animal welfare."

Tweet long and prosper, Betty.
