Prince William Gives Emotional Speech About Princess Diana



Prince William gave an emotional speech at the 21st anniversary of Child Bereavement UK about the death of his mother, Princess Diana on Thursday. He delivered the moving speech in front of hundreds of guests to mark the event.

The Daily Telegraph noted that Prince William spoke to 270 guests at the 21st birthday celebrations, and he brought up the rare topic of his mother's death -- and delivered the moving speech with grace.

The Kensington Palace tweeted the transcript of the entire speech:



"Twenty-one years ago last month, my mother attended the launch of the Child Bereavement Charity," he told the crowd. "Fifteen years later, I was honored to be invited to become Patron of Child Bereavement UK to continue my mother's commitment to a charity, which is very dear to me."
