Man says dead mouse landed in his Subway sandwich
This may not be Subway's biggest PR problem of the year -- but it's close. Matt Jones says that while he was getting a sub with his friend Jay at the popular chain, the employee scooped out a helping of a spinach ... along with a dead mouse.

Jones told KGW-TV it was all pretty hilarious.

"The lady behind the counter said it's a dead mouse. And I laugh and I say no way. No freaking way. So I walk over. She opened the sub sandwich and there was a dead mouse in the spinach ... That's something that only happens in movies, I was laughing. I was like no way, because this is the craziest thing that's ever happened."
They alerted the manager who was no doubt shocked, and the boys got their money back.
The health department was also called in to investigate and determined that the rodent didn't come from inside the restaurant, but likely from the bag of spinach.
