Carey Mulligan stuns 3 weeks after giving birth

Even among publicity-shy actresses, Carey Mulligan stands out.

She doesn't discuss her marriage to musician Marcus Mumford. She doesn't share anecdotes about her off-screen life. She didn't announce her pregnancy. She has no social media presence, by design.

So we know she gave birth to a daughter, Evelyn, in early October.

And look at her at the New York premiere of "Suffragette." Yes, actresses are known for their superhuman ability to rebound from pregnancy. But Mulligan sure does clean up nice.

We got the scoop from celebrity makeup artist Georgie Eisdell, who says she was inspired by Mulligan's "exquisite dress," which was by Alexander McQueen. "I wanted to keep the look classic and clean with the perfect red lip."

Face: CHANEL Sublimage La Crème, followed by CHANEL Vitalumière Aqua Ultra-Light Skin Perfecting Sunscreen Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 15 combined with Perfection Lumière Velvet Smooth-Effect Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Sunscreen. She followed that up with CHANEL Powder Blush in Rose Pétale and CHANEL Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Colour SPF 15 on her cheeks and forehead.

Eyes: CHANEL Quadra Eyeshadow in Prélude and two layers of Illamasqua Masquara in Raven "to make the lashes full and fluffy. I then added a few individual lashes to finish the look."

Lips: For the perfect scarlet pout, she used CHANEL Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lip Colour in Pirate.

As for that post-baby glow -- can't really help you there, folks. That comes naturally.
