Photo of Deputy Comforting Baby Goes Viral

LEEDS, Ala. -- A photo showing a deputy comforting a baby following a multi-vehicle crash in Alabama has gone viral.

The rush-hour crash happened on Interstate 20 near Leeds, Alabama, around 7:50 a.m. Tuesday.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office posted a photo on Facebook that shows Deputy Ric Lindley comforting an infant at the scene of the crash. The photo quickly went viral.

Troopers said the accident involved an ambulance, a tractor-trailer and three other vehicles.

No serious injuries were reported.
