Good guy Tom Hanks helps return college student's ID
Tom Hanks just keeps getting better and better.
The Oscar-winning actor, noteworthy prankster and father of four is also a genuinely good guy.
So when Hanks found a college student's ID in the park today, he had to help find its owner.
The actor tweeted out a photo of the ID with the caption, "Lauren! I found your Student ID in the park. If you still need it my office will get to you. Hanx."

Maybe good ol' "Hanx" was just paying it forward. Earlier this year, the actor experienced something similar when a stranger named Tony returned Hanks' credit card to him after finding it in the street in New York City.
"You make this city even greater!" the actor tweeted in gratitude.
This just goes to show you that it always helps to pay it forward.
Best of luck to Laura on getting her ID back from "Hanx."
