Actress and costume designer Lou Eyrich give a tour of the show's wardrobe trailer.
"Scream Queens" queen bee Chanel Oberlin is a fashion forward step beyond even her offscreen portrayer, Emma Roberts. As the actress puts it, slipping into Chanel's stylish garbs are just as important for getting into character as memorizing dialogue.
In a new exclusive video (above) from Ryan Murphy's horror comedy, Roberts takes viewers behind the scenes of the wardrobe trailer with Lou Eyrich, Murphy's longtime costume designer who also previously collaborated with him on "Glee" and "American Horror Story."
The pair shared how they combined modern pieces with vintage Chanel and Dior thrown in to create memorable and timeless looks for Chanel, and were especially excited to show off an Alice + Olivia ensemble featuring a bright yellow dress and matching jacket – with fur lining added.
"This is so fun because she wears this on a college campus, yet Chanel can pull it off," said Eyrich.
"You can go over your lines in your pajamas, but you don't feel that essence until you put on the fur jacket and the stilettos and you're like, there she is," Roberts added.
"Scream Queens" airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
