This flapping Japanese facial fitness toy is the weirdest gadget out there

Apparently this very awkward gadget is supposed let you exercise your face muscles and tone your chubby cheeks to give you the gift of a great smile. The Facial Fitness Pao is on a quest to reshape the world's cheeks with just 30 seconds of use, twice a day (according to its Amazon page where, in case you can't resist to the charm of its weirdness, you can purchase one for about $133).
The company used soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo to sponsor its product, which you are supposed to hold between your lips while you bounce up and down with a movement that cannot be described if not by using a gif. Notice the mastered technique and concentration this super user showcases:
