Want to live in a London stairwell? It will only cost you £500
Want to live like Harry Potter, minus the magic and Hogwarts? Now you can live under a stairwell just like Harry, for just £500 a month.
This London woman must have thought she was being "punked" during her apartment hunt in London's Clapham district. Alex Lomax took to Twitter to vent her frustration, with the caption "I have literally just been shown a bed under the stairs for £500 a month. F you London!"
Lomax, who found this "single furnished room" listing online, was shocked to find out it was just a bed under a stairwell. The "room" is listed for £500 per month, which equals out to a little more than $558.
In the property description online, the poster requests that this prospective housemate is not "somebody that just wants to stay in their room."
No kidding!
